All parties with minor children in divorce or dissolution cases must complete a parenting seminar. The seminars are scheduled throughout the year on Wednesday mornings and last approximately 2.5 hours.
Rescheduling
Parties are scheduled to take the seminar at the beginning of the case. If a party must reschedule their seminar, they may do so by contacting the office of the Magistrate to whom their case has been assigned.
Failure to Participate
Failure to take the seminar could result in the delay in filing a final decree or the denial of court ordered parenting time. For further information, see Local R. 8.06 of the Local Court Rules.
