Miami County Job & Family Services-Social Services Worker 2/Adult Protective
Services Investigates claims of abuse, neglect or exploitation of older adults, and maintains caseload of adults who have previously been determined to require protective assistance. Home visits/field work included. Prepares cases for administrative or judicial procedures. Participates in actions to establish legal guardianship, including testifying in court as needed. Acts as the Healthchek and Pregnancy Related Services Coordinator. Also included in this position is establishing eligibility for cash, medical and food assistance. Miami County Job & Family Services-Eligibility Referral Supervisor 1
Direct supervision of Eligibility/Referral Specialist 1 & 2 Caseworkers and the Adult Protective Services program, including participation in hiring, promotion, discipline and termination of staff. Completes performance evaluations. Acts as the IEVS Coordinator, monitors the processing of public assistance cases, IEVS matches, healthcare applications and the Healthchek Program. Ensures compliance with the IEVS system, public assistance, food assistance and medical assistance programs. Assigns and reviews work of subordinate staff. Resolves employee questions, problems and complaints. Resolves client complaints. Assists in the development of agency policies and procedures. Miami County Board of Elections-Deputy Director-Full Time

Miami County Sheriff's Office-Corrections Officer-Full Time
Corrections officers are responsible for overseeing individuals who have been arrested and are awaiting trial or who have been sentenced to serve time in jail. In Miami County the Sheriff’s Office operates two jail facilities and staff both with corrections officers. The first is a 43 bed facility located in downtown Troy and is considered maximum security, holding our highest risk inmates. The second jail is located in CR 25a north of Troy and is a 240 bed facility holding less serious male offenders and females. Corrections Officers rotate between both locations. Duties include: Periodic patrols and checks; monitoring inmate living quarters; screening visitors; inmate counts and other duties as required.

West Central Juvenile Detention-Corrections Officer-PT/Intermittent
Under general supervision and within a secure / locked facility, maintains security of building and grounds and safety of youth and staff. Required to supervise and conduct daily activities of detained youth(s), ensuring basic needs for food, personal hygiene, clothing, etc. are met.
