Interviews, evaluates and assesses applicants for public assistance regarding their employment situation. Complete assessment, employability plans, and self-sufficiency plans for the Ohio Works First (OWF) and Food Assistance Programs. Determines eligibility for emergency-based assistance (PRC) and support services such as child care and transportation. Enters information in the computer system. Makes home visits as needed. Interview and assist Workforce Innovation and Opportunities Act (WIOA) and Job Center customers; determine eligibility for WIOA programs, including resume preparation, assessing needs and resolve barriers to employment. Miami County Job & Family Services-Eligibility Referral Specialist 1
Interviews recipients to determine eligibility for Public Assistance programs, including Temporary Assistance for Needy Families, Food Assistance, Medicaid, and others. Miami County Transit-Transit Specialist-Part Time

Riverside DD-Administrative Assistant-Part Time

Provides clerical support to the HR and Business Directors as requested. Accepts applications for new employees and corresponds with applicants. Schedules interviews. Tracks employee and applicant information and updates and maintains HR files. Creates orientation packets and updates forms as needed or requested. Schedules new hires for physicals, drug screens, background checks and other required appointments. Miami County Children's Services-Caseworker 1 Intake-Full Time
Work with families at risk of child maltreatment, screened in to alternative response pathway, as partners to identify family strengths, needs, and risks or concerns that are interfering with child safety, healthy child development, and/or family stability and well-being. Use standardized tools and protocols to assess and document safety and risk. Create individualized service plans and/ or case plans with identified goals in partnership with family and build objectives toward achieving goals. Miami County Public Health-LPN-Full Time

Miami County Sheriff's Office-Corrections Officer-Full Time
Corrections officers are responsible for overseeing individuals who have been arrested and are awaiting trial or who have been sentenced to serve time in jail. In Miami County the Sheriff’s Office operates two jail facilities and staff both with corrections officers. The first is a 43 bed facility located in downtown Troy and is considered maximum security, holding our highest risk inmates. The second jail is located in CR 25a north of Troy and is a 240 bed facility holding less serious male offenders and females. Corrections Officers rotate between both locations. Duties include: Periodic patrols and checks; monitoring inmate living quarters; screening visitors; inmate counts and other duties as required.
