Miami County Children's Services-Caseworker 1 Intake-Full Time

Work with families at risk of child maltreatment, screened in to alternative response pathway, as partners to identify family strengths, needs, and risks or concerns that are interfering with child safety, healthy child development, and/or family stability and well-being. Use standardized tools and protocols to assess and document safety and risk. Create individualized service plans and/ or case plans with identified goals in partnership with family and build objectives toward achieving goals. View family strengths and needs holistically and make appropriate service and support recommendations based on assessments and established goals. Facilitate family's ability to meet goals through engagement, communication, support, and connections to services. Miami County Public Health-Plumbing Inspector-Full Time
Under the general direction of the Chief Plumbing Inspector, the Certified Plumbing Inspector is responsible for conducting plan reviews and on-site inspections and consultations of residential and commercial plumbing systems. Riverside DD-Service & Support Administrator-Full Time
Acts as primary point of coordination for each individual served by MCBDD. Assesses individual needs for services and supports; develops, reviews, and revises’ individual service plans; establishes recommendation for and obtains approval of budgets for services based on the individual’s assessed needs and preferred ways of meeting those needs. Ensures that services are effectively coordinated and provided by appropriate providers and natural supports, and provided according to ISP. Riverside DD-Transition Service & Support Administrator-Full Time
Work with students ages 14 up to high school graduation. Assesses individual needs for transition services along with other assessments; facilitates the development of individual service plans; establishes budgets for services based on the individual’s assessed needs and preferred ways of meeting those needs. Identify supports needed for individuals to live, work, and play in the community. Miami County Sheriff's Office-Corrections Officer-Full Time
Corrections officers are responsible for overseeing individuals who have been arrested and are awaiting trial or who have been sentenced to serve time in jail. In Miami County the Sheriff’s Office operates two jail facilities and staff both with corrections officers. The first is a 43 bed facility located in downtown Troy and is considered maximum security, holding our highest risk inmates. The second jail is located in CR 25a north of Troy and is a 240 bed facility holding less serious male offenders and females. Corrections Officers rotate between both locations. Duties include: Periodic patrols and checks; monitoring inmate living quarters; screening visitors; inmate counts and other duties as required.
