About Jack Evans
Commissioner John F. (Jack) Evans was first appointed to complete the term of John J. Dugan, (deceased). He was subsequently elected and is serving his thrid four-year term.

Mr. Evans is a lifelong resident of Miami County. He graduated from Tipp City High School and received a BSBA degree from the Ohio State University. Jack was commissioned Second Lutienant U.S. Army Field Artillery, and in 1992 he was honorably discharged as a Captain.

Community Service has been a Priority. Jack is a Past President of the Tipp City Chamber of Commerce, Tipp City Improvement Corporation, and was President of Monroe Township Trustees when he was chosen to serve as a Miami County Commissioner. Jack has served on numerous Local, County, and State Boards and Associations.

Mr. Evans is an Independent Insurance Agent and Principle of Favorite Insurance Agency. He holds the professional designation of a Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter. He served 4 years as the Independent Agents of Ohio District Trustee, and past President of Independent Insurance Agents of Miami County.

Jack and his wife, Amy, reside in Tipp City. They have four children and three grandchildren, and they are active supporters of Tipp City Schools and of Miami County
